PRIVACY POLICY / PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
If you are our customer, newsletter subscriber, or a visitor to our website, you are entrusting us with your personal data. We are responsible for protecting and securing that data. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with how we handle personal data, our policies, and the rights you have under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Who is the Data Controller?
We are INTIMITY FESTIVAL, s.r.o., registered at Myslíkova 1998/30, 120 00 Prague 2, Company ID: 23289911, entered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 424645.
We process your personal data as a controller, which means we decide how your data will be processed, for what purpose, for how long, and we may also select other processors to help us.

We declare that as the controller of your personal data, we comply with all legal obligations required by applicable legislation, especially the GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act, and in particular that:
- we will process your personal data only on the basis of a valid legal ground, primarily legitimate interest, fulfillment of a contract, legal obligation, or your consent
- we fulfill our information obligation under Article 13 GDPR before beginning the processing of personal data
- we allow and support you in exercising your rights under the GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act
Scope of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing
We process the personal data you provide to us yourself, for the following reasons (to fulfill these purposes):
Provision of Services
We record your personal data in our internal customer information system to the following extent:
- Name and surname – required for customer identification
- Phone number – necessary in case of ticket order complications
- Email – required for sending purchased tickets (emails are not used for newsletters unless you give consent)
- Address – required for technical solutions and for sending printed tickets if needed
- Order history – required for our internal accounting and may allow us to offer you loyalty benefits as a returning customer
We store this data for 10 years.
Marketing – Newsletters
We use your email address, along with data such as which links you click in emails and when you open them, for direct marketing (sending newsletters and promotional messages). Newsletters are sent only with your consent, for a period of 5 years, and you can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email.
With your explicit consent, we may also send inspiring offers from third parties or use your email for remarketing and ad targeting on Facebook, for up to 5 years. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through our contact details.
Photography and Media
Photographs from our events, organized under the Intimity Festival brand, may be published on our website, social media, newsletters, or other promotional materials under the legal grounds of the Civil Code. We always select suitable photos. If you have a justified objection to their publication, please contact us at info@intimityfestival.cz.
Performers at our events always sign a written agreement explicitly consenting to the publication and indefinite archiving of photos.
Cookies
When browsing our website, we record your IP address, how long you stay on the site, and where you came from. We view the use of cookies for measuring website traffic and customizing content as our legitimate interest, as we believe it helps us provide better services.
Advertising cookies are processed only with your consent.
Cookies are also essential for the functioning of our e-shop, and without them, online purchases cannot be completed. You can, however, disable cookies in your browser.
Data Security and Protection
We protect personal data as much as possible using modern technologies that reflect the current level of technical development. We treat your data as if it were our own. We have adopted and maintain all possible technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, damage, or destruction of your personal data.
Sharing of Personal Data with Third Parties
Your personal data may be accessed by our employees and close collaborators.
For specific processing tasks that we cannot handle ourselves, we use specialized service providers who are capable of securing data even better than we can. These include:
- Mailchimp
- Facebook, Instagram
- Stripe
In the future, we may use additional applications or processors to improve and streamline data processing. We promise that in such cases, we will apply at least the same security and quality requirements as we do ourselves.
Data Transfers Outside the EU
All personal data processing takes place within the European Union.
Your Rights under GDPR
You have a number of rights related to personal data protection. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@intimityfestival.cz.
- Right to information – fulfilled through this Privacy Policy
- Right of access – you can request information on what personal data we process and why (within 14 days)
- Right to rectification – if your data changes or is inaccurate, you can request corrections or updates
- Right to restriction of processing – if you believe data is inaccurate, processed unlawfully, or you object to processing
- Right to data portability – you can request your data in machine-readable format (within 30 days)
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – you can request the deletion of your data from our systems and backups (within 60 days), unless legal obligations require us to keep certain records (e.g. tax documents)
We will inform you by email once deletion is completed.
Complaints to Supervisory Authority
If you believe we are not handling your data in accordance with the law, you can file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ). We would, however, appreciate if you contacted us first, so we can resolve the issue.
Unsubscribing from Newsletters
If you are our customer, we send emails with inspiration, articles, or product/service updates based on our legitimate interest.
If you are not yet a customer, we send newsletters only with your consent.
In both cases, you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email.
Confidentiality
We assure you that our employees and collaborators who process your personal data are bound by confidentiality regarding personal data and security measures. This confidentiality continues even after our cooperation ends. Without your consent, your personal data will not be shared with any third party.
